Mr. Rodriguez: Do not

Cardinal call, because I respect Mr deserves respect, respect is not given the post, you should dignify the office he holds and not vice versa.

I was reading your most recent statements to the EFE news agency in Alicante, Spain, and freedom of expression to me by the Constitution of the Republic I have some reflections.

I think you did not understand after so many years that the State of Honduras is secular, so that their statements, all of which interfere in political affairs, are completely out of place.

A secular state is called the State, and by extension a nation or country, independent of any organization or religion.

As for his views on unity and reconciliation, to interfere in matters outside its competence, with comments full of subjectivity, political and personal preferences, you are the most divided the Honduran society. Many of his parishioners before they do not want to know anything the Catholic Church for his untimely interference in affairs of state. Many would ask, very politely, that would not interfere in the reconciliation of Hondurans, but we appreciate the gesture.

Personally, I never thought anyone's spiritual leader, however, was my opinion that you were a smart man, religion and common sense. By his statements regarding the events of June 28, that the world was a military coup, I completely changed my mind. You may need a little more instruction as to the Honduran laws and common sense should tell you that under the rule of law does not judge based on speculation. I am obliged to remind you as the bishop should not judge under any circumstances, as the "Catholic" supposedly leave those matters in the hands of God. Similarly, should know that the arrest warrants are not delivered to the military, since that is not its function, and that households can not enter before 6:00 am (by noting a few of the legal aberrations led to this crime against humanity that you intend to ignore and we all call a military coup). So I do not understand their arguments to justify the crime perpetrated against the people of Honduras on June 28, 2009. I would like to clarify

the world in which time was that you heard about the intentions of President Zelaya to remain in power "twenty years" as quoted in his interview. Given that President Zelaya never said in public or in private on continually strive to ensure that you know, we infer that perhaps the President came to you to confess, which we doubt, in which case you would be violating a sacred sacrament, as it is for Catholic confession.

As close associate of President Zelaya, the legitimate representative of all Hondurans and in solidarity with many of the ministers of his administration, you worry me tremendously, without evidence, appropriate to accuse State looters. Thinking about the possible motivations I began to recall the background of his father, Andrés Rodríguez, who has repeatedly been accused, perhaps unfairly, of plundering during the dictatorship of Tiburcio Carias Andino and maybe you, judging by your condition, intended slandering honorable people. If you are holding trials on people who have plundered the State of Honduras should be presented. The Honduran people have evidence that you have received "gifts" of some presidents.

I must admit that his final words coincide with the whole approach of the President and his staff, so we do not understand how you "light on the street, darkness of his home, a situation that can defend the end of his sentence interview. I think an inexcusable inconsistency of someone who is believed papabile (fortunately for millions of Catholics that did not happen, or will) to criticize the abuses that occur in the world and applaud those who give their friends and supporters in Honduras nation we should defend.

close my telling him to make an examination of conscience, if one exists, that can actually provide their parishioners what they need: comfort, faith, truth, hope and spiritual director to engage in the tasks have been assigned as representative of the Catholic Church. We have not heard a single comment on the violations committed against citizens of Honduras, on the killings, abductions, torture and illegal arrests, all crimes committed by this government de facto. Maybe it's that none of the victims was a relative of one of their powerful friends.

Goodbye Mr. Rodriguez, I hope I have offended with my letter. Me and honest ministers accompanied the President Zelaya, you offended us and we do care when people slander us, frankly, have not lived up to their words.
